Repair vinyl floor edge 2
Job description
The vinyl edge of my flooring has come up off the concrete floor and looks a bit ragged on the edge of the vinyl. It needs to be cut back by a few cm to remove the ragged edge, stuck down to the concrete floor again and a new edging strip installed (vinyl to concrete garage floor). The edge to be repaired is under 3m long with a slight angle in it. The entire length is about 5m long.

Overall disappointing. Poor finishing-glue left on vinyl that wasn’t obvious at the time but only identified when dirt started to stick to it. Cleaned it up ourselves. Vinyl is bubbling in one location which is a pity. Again I will fix myself. Cost was very high but it’s probably our fault as was not nailed down up front. Communication was poor and twice we waited in & he didn’t arrive. All these things regretfully accepted as there was no interest by any other tradespeople :-(
