Carpet Re lay around new "built in" cabinets

Exsisting wool carpet needs to be tacked down around new built in cabinets in upstairs work space. Also have a piece that has a hole...wondering if a join can be made in existing carpet to get rid of hole. This is not a huge job...just a tidy up that needs to be done! Would love it done this week as office space needs to be up and running by end of June.
