Carpet trim after laying tiles

I have just laid some floor tiles (3.5m2) inside our front door/ranchslider and we need the remaining excess carpet to be trimmed and re-stretched and smooth edge laid (floor is concrete) along where the tiles finish (approx 3.5m of smooth edge required). There is also a small section of metal carpet edging to be put back down where the carpet meets the lino in the kitchen (approx 50mm in length). I still have the old piece that i removed available to trim down to suit as it matches the rest of the house. Time and day are negotiable but prefer later afternoon or first thing in the morning due to work.
