Job description

House Repair & Maintenance
Wellington

Hi, we are part way through a bathroom and laundry renovation in our 1930’s building in Wellington. We have fully stripped out both rooms of wall coverings, floors and ceilings. We’ve discovered a section of rot in the bottom plate of one of the bathrooms non structural walls. The bottom plate has almost completely disintegrated from the rot. There is also possible some dry rot around the bathroom window, which also needs to be looked at. The window is in a structural wall. Timeframe - we are looking to get these sections of rot made good ASAP as we cannot move to the next stage without this being addressed. For the bottom plate section I’d like to have the replacement done with a minimal disturbance to the room on the other side of the wall as possible.

Lewis was a great find for our job. His communication was fantastic, he was always on time and fast. He was also able to cover off a number of other jobs on our bathroom and laundry job, which was very much appreciated!! Thanks Lewis, great work, we’ll be in touch with future jobs.
