Kitchen Window

Re-placing a kitchen window. Then building a new window that needs to be double glazed and is referred to as a garden, or greenhouse style window. (I know it's a bit retro, but it's what I would like) We're not sure if the framing should be aluminium or wood. The rest of the house is double glazed, with aluminium frames. We could possibly look at sourcing the double glazing ourselves, if it's just the framing that's made.
