Cornice/Scotia install in lounge/dining/kitchen

Cornice/Scotia molding to be put up in the kitchen, dining, and lounge open plan area. The ceilings are vaulted/cathedral style as it is a Lockwood home from the late 60s. There are a couple to beams which will need to have molding on the transitions as well. We are thinking to use quarter round as the molding since this is used elsewhere in the home. Open to other options though if simpler.
