We have had some earthquake damage to our home that has been assessed by insurers. I'm after someone to make those repairs and project manage it. There are a range of repairs required. The most substantial is that some beams in the lounge ceiling that have moved and need to be put back/replaced/tied down. We are not really sure how serious that is and until you get in there you may not be sure either. The insurance estimates the cost of that repair as $4000-5000. There are a number of other smaller earthquake repairs in the $1000-3000 space that could be considered as well... mainly in the exterior cladding. Thirdly and subject to cost, we would consider making a modification to our entrance way. Finally, I've had a builders report done and their is some building maintenance work that needs handling. All in all we need someone to help us work out what we need to do, then do it including project management. All up there is probably $30-50k worth of general building work $30k likely to be earthquake related. It's possible its more. It's likely that some of the work could be spaced out to fill in gaps around your wider projects as everything except the lounge beams are not that urgent.
