Freestanding Deck & Outdoor Steps
Job description
We need a deck to make our back yard BBQ friendly! Details below; Deck will be approx 5.1m x 3.8m, ideally very low to the ground but assume it will need to be about 300mm high so also need a step on 2 of the sides. The steps need to join the deck to an existing raised patio coming off the side of the house so need to work with the existing style, estimate approx 1.6m drop from patio deck to new deck. We are waiting for the groundworks company to clear and level the area (should be done mid Nov) and keen to get the deck & steps completed ASAP after that - definitely before xmas. The back fence in the pictures will be pushed about 1m further back before the deck build to allow more room. Happy to answer any other questions about the job or confirm measurements if required! Excellent right from the start! Prompt communication and site visit, having contacts to source the required timber when no-one else could get their hands on any, sticking to deadlines, being easy to deal with and completing a really tidy deck and stairs for us. Darshan is a very skilled builder who knows what he's talking about and was happy to explain everything. There were a couple of small miscommunications but he went above and beyond to rectify things and we are so happy with the result!
