Upstairs deck replacement

Looking for a builder to repair our existing upstairs outdoor deck – currently you’ll see from the pix it has no support rail. But in addition to this, most of the deck floor planks are rotting and need replacing as well. Most of the wood needs to be replaced, potentially some of the support beams too. Rough measurements of the deck are: Deck width - TBC Deck length - TBC Support beams - TBC At this stage we’re just looking at replacing it with a deck of the same dimensions, but we’re open to suggestions a builder may have about alternative options. Also open to discussion about whether the existing ranch slider is retained or whether we replace it with a bifolding sliding door. Ideally would like this project finished by October – sooner the better. For a non-Waiheke resident builder we can discuss accommodation options while the job is being done (rather than travelling back and forward between the Island and Auckland). We’ll be looking for quotes from experienced builders which are detailed and provide info on hours, materials, inclusions/exclusions, warranty, completion date. Can arrange to meet at the property during the weekends in order to property assess the work required and provide a quote.
