I need a new manhole cut into the floorboards of a wardrobe floor (first photo). There is currently a small manhole in the other wardrobe (second photo), but the insulation installers tell me they need a bigger one to get the product down. The house is a 1930s brick bungalow with wooden floorboards throughout, with fairly low clearance. The wardrobe for the new manhole is bigger than the original, and the underfloor space here is deeper.
