Flooring fix
Job description
I need a hole in my floor fixed. I am hoping that it's just from the top that needs fixing and nothing more serious like a joist? It is in a main thoroughfare and is likely to get worse and affect other areas. I am using a mobility walker so the less time it takes to fix, the better. It's an old house that was last renovated in the 90s. This area that needs fixing is part of an extension, so hopefully it's just chipboard subflooring to be done. My brother and I own the house, we are renovating it slowly. Carpet will be getting laid in a few months - we need to paint the ugly walls first. A bit of a standstill at the moment due to the awesome weather. We had a hapu partition done. This is our grand parents house that we are doing up and fixing. We have no pets, but the neighbors have a curious dog that sniffs around and barks a lot but doesn't bite. The hole is below the sliding door leading into the lounge / house. For years one of the glass panels was smashed so apart from the door being opened, the elements probably got through that and weakened the floor? We have since replaced the broken glass and lock to the door but not quickly enough. Really, just a hole in the floor that needs fixing.

Excellent job. Any questions I had were answered thoughtfully and thoroughly. The job was completed in a quick manner and the materials used were of a high quality - better than the original materials used if I'm being honest. Very satisfied.
