replace wooden scribers around 3 aluminum window frames

3 windows need the wood that is on the side of the aluminum frames (scribers) replaced the wood isnt part of the window frame just sits on the side. 1 frame is a ranch slider on a deck, another a window that can be accessed with a normal ladder or even step ladder. the other is on the first floor. we have scaffolding available until the end of the 7/3 already setup so access should not be a problem if job can be done before then. The house is hardy board so the wood gets nailed into hardy board.
