Deck Joist

Install new joist approx. 100mm out from existing joist to allow ventilation duct to pass through deck against wall. Create penetration through original joist for ducting to pass through. Refix decking as required into new joist, leaving edging plank lose for ventilation installers. Proposed solution in photos, other ideas welcome. Quote required Work must be completed before 22 March
