Build a deck a step down from existing
Job description
Hi, I have an existing deck, and I’d like to add a second lower level to it. About 8-9m2 (TBC). Area is currently grass. See photo, it would go off the edge where plants are in root bags.

Work was sub-par-150mm depth step was 110mm at one end and 70mm at other. Discussed options, tradies doing work told me my original request wasn’t poss - poor comms between person quoting & those doing the work. Came to agreement that is OK -company tried to charge $350 for the “extra” - not allowed under CGA. Steps to deck are terrible - non aligned joins, steps different depths but I’ll live with. Wouldn’t recommend - get someone who is quoting AND doing the work.
