Kitchen windowsill water damge repair

There is water damage showing on the window sill of the corner window in our Kitchen. The Damage appears to have started at the top and dripped down. not sure if this is due to a leak in the roof above the window or a leak in the window mounting itself. do ont know if it has leaked into the wall below the sill and done any damage there as well. Wish to have someone provide an estimate for checking for the extent and cause of the damage and the repair.
