Deck shade solution

I want to create an area off the lounge of our house which will extend out onto the deck which will mean we can utilise our outdoor area better. Currently in the summer it is just too hot out there. About a 2mtr by 5mtr rectangle type extension off the existing structure which we can then fit outdoor blinds/Louvres to for protection from the elements. Sort of like a conservatory as such?
