Replacement of a wooden floor in an 1860s cob cottage. The cottage is built straight out of the ground. The floor in the center room of the cottage does have its original supports and rimu floor boards. This is the floor that needs replacing. There is about 200mm from dirt to floor boards. Floor to be free standing because it cannot be attached to dirt walls. The room is 4metres by 4metres.

MCG did a fantastic job in time and on budget. I was very impressed how they were so meticulous at each step. Working in a cob cottage with no straight walls and all floors adjoining the new one at different heights was never going to be an easy fix, hey did an outstanding job and I would recommend them to anyone.
