Window Sill Replacement - late 1940's Weatherboard house
Job description
The window sill has rotted and will need repair or replacement. At first I just noted peeling paint, but when I removed that I could see the cause. The rot in the sill goes quite a long way and I think it's beyond patching and will need replacing. The plate supporting the window frame immediately above the sill appears to be ok, from what little of it I can see, but it will need a good look at. House was built in 1948 and is standard weatherboard construction for that era.

No problems with this guy! Turned up to look at the problem when he said he would, worked out what was needed, and showed up promptly to attend to it. Very pleased with the result. Can recommend.
