Replace rotten exterior boards

I have a wall with a shadowclad like product on it. There is a horizontal trim at the bottom of the wall, which directly sits on a concrete step. The horizontal trim is now rotten, as is some of the shadowclad. Need to get this repaired and futureproofed to avoid rotting again in the future.
