Repair/replace section of rotted wall studs/beams
Job description
We need a section of rotten studs/beams replaced or repaired. We recently uncovered the problem on the back wall of our under-house garage. The rotten section is accessible from behind the wall. I've provided photos to show the area from both sides of the wall. We're hoping someone has capacity to do this before Christmas. The repair of the rotten section of wooden frame is a standalone job but there could be an add-on job available to re-cover with plasterboard. But this would depend on how much of it needs to be removed and the overall cost.

Lance and his team from Collins Carpentry provided a top quality service for us on a rotten framework repair job. The rot was quite substantial, spanning the full length of a loadbaring wall and partially around two joining walls. Their workmanship was excellent and so was their communication from start to end. Lance provided great advice, explained everything well, kept us updated and made the experience easy. The job was completed on time and within budget.
