Timber Deck replacement
Job description
We have a small timber deck (18.2 m) which we want to replace, and add a step down into the backyard as well. We would like this done over 2 days so my husband can clear all the rubbish that has been left under deck by previous tenants etc, and then replace the decking. The underfootings appear stable but one part of the deck is a bit bouncy and a builder has told us it is an easy fix as the joist should have been attached to the house. We would ideally like this deck completed before end of May 2023, as old decking is very slippery and dangerous on frosty mornings! We will also need enough notice to have heatpump unit removed so deck can be replaced.

Hamish was wonderful from the start with honest & clear communications, he has done a fabulous job with our deck rebuild and has taken much care in getting it perfect the first time. His skills and attention to detail are fabulous and we highly recommend him for this kind of work. He also left the work site tidy every day, which we really appreciated with having 2 small dogs to investigate the site on his departure. Thanks Hamish.
