Repair front porch; hang new front door; build gate by garage
Job description
We need 3 jobs done on our house - we would like them done by the end of January: 1. Our front porch has some rot in several parts of the timber. These need to be replaced. You can see in the photos that one 'stud' has rot at the bottom. It appears that the opposite one has had the bottom 30cm replaced so that’s probably a good strategy with this one. There is also rot in a few other places on the balustrade and we would like to replace these. Happy to discuss with you the best way to repair these parts. We will do the final painting. 2. Replace the front door with a modern door. Its 1980mm x 810mm door. You can see the front door in the picture of the front porch. We will supply the door and hardware. 3. Build a gate down the side of our garage. We want a gate to keep the dog in the yard and at the moment we just have an old piece of wire mesh here. The first two photos are of the gap between the fence and the garage - you can connect the gate to the concrete block wall of the garage. The gap between the fence and the garage wall is about 950-1000mm. Happy to talk about a ball park quote over the phone and send through more photos so you don't have to drive to Diamond Harbour just to quote.

Wish I could give 6 stars - Nick is brilliant, and does a fantastic and thorough job with no shortcuts taken. The work he did for us far exceeded our expectations. Genuinely nice guy as well.
