Replacement of door and frame
Job description
The door that provides access under my house is on its last legs, and the door frame needs replacing. It might be possible to repair the door, but I am happy to just replace the whole thing if that is easier. I'd like this work done within the next 2-3 weeks, but can wait a little longer for the right person if necessary! I would like the door to have a bolt with similar functionality to the existing one, but am relaxed about the design - I am also not too worried about which wood is used for the door and frame, as long as it is solid and durable. The outer top frame panel is 88cm long x 6cm wide x 1.9cm thick, the outer left frame panel is 170cm high x 6cm wide x1.9cm thick, and the outer right frame panel is 164cm high x 6cm wide x 1.9cm thick. The overall thickness of the door frame is approx 14cm. The door itself is 165cm high x 75.5cm wide x 1.9cm thick (plus the reinforcing boards on the inside of the door). The door slats are each approx 8.3cm wide. I would like the door to be finished to a good standard, ready for painting.

Excellent service and very reasonably priced. Hayden clearly knew what he was doing, and really added value with his suggested solutions when we found that the job was a bit more involved than it had looked on the surface. His communication was fantastic, and his friendly and consultative approach meant it was a pleasure to work with him. Highly recommended.
