Front porch
Job description
I want a front porch built 2 metres length by 2.48 m high by 1.3m wide to shelter from the weather similar in design to the existing back porch.The framing treated timber is about 65mm by 40 mm and it needs to be tapcon screwed to the concrete slab at the top of the steps near the front door. the top 1.5 meters will have windows on the two sides at right angles to each other.Either the steel bannister can be removed and vertical posts attached to the side of the concrete slab or it can be built inside but close to the bannister/rails.

Good workmanship. Abit disappointed about some of the timber knot holes or defects which I filled and sanded.Also a few surfaces were rough sawn so I had to sand those before painting. I should have specified no rough finish surfaces.One nail missed it's mark in a corner post but I cut it out.Overall the design and build was very good and the job was completed in one day by two people. Thanks.
