Build of trellis gate and repair or replace leaning post

I'd like the space between the house and the trellis / green wall closed off with a latched trellis gate. The existing post that the green wall is hanging off has developed a lean and this post might need replacing. This might need a grinder to make a bigger hole in the concrete where the post either need replacing (see photo), or perhaps a beam added across the top of the green wall to attach it to the house. I'm open to ideas. The job isn't particularly urgent, but I'd like it done in the next few weeks. Quality is more important than price on this job. The trellis wall needs to be properly supported, and I want the trellis gate to open and close nicely without developing a lean or sagging which will make opening and closing it difficult.
