Dining table - shorten legs and improve stability

Hi Our dining table is too high, so we would like someone to come around and shorten the four legs by 5cm or so. Also, we want the legs to be braced onto the framing better. Currently there are wood pins holding the legs to the frame and it has become wobbly. Refer pics
