Two benchtops made from timber slabs (tasmanian oak) benchtop dimensions 1000mm x 2200mm and 600mm x 2600mm. Timber slabs require cutting out heart wood and milling each side of the remaining timber into 200-250mm strips (width to be confirmed). Slab thicknes is approx 108mm, this needs bandsawing down the middle to make approximately 50mm thickness. Timber requires laminating to form bench tops, inserts for kitchen sink and gas hobs cut out. Benchtop possibly requires a protective finish, depending on cost, i may choose to do this myself.
