Bulkhead to hide rangehood ducting

Going to install a rangehood and the only way to lead ducting outside is 5 meters to the left along the lounge wall. Bare ducting will look ugly, so thinking about hiding it behind a bulkhead. Would you be able to make the bulkhead and lead the ducting through it?
