Installing a rangehood

My old one died and I couldn't get an exact replacement as the Kitchen was designed around the old range hood. This new one is slightly bigger and the cupboard shelves housing the previous one will have to be cut off at the bottom edges to accommodate the new one which protrudes out and above the cooking space.
