Join 2 wardrobes to 1 big one (requires plastering)

Hi there - I am hoping to join 2 wardrobes into 1 larger wardrobe. Currently the wardrobes are actually joined however you access one half from one bedroom, and one half from the other bedroom. So the job would involve plastering over one side of the wardrobe to close that access, and then removing the plaster and creating an opening/door on the other side so therefore the wardrobe would only be accessible from one room. Hope this makes sense!
