I have a large native timber kitchen benchtop. It is 2360mms x 600mms x approx 50 MMS. Tenants have used it as a chopping board leaving numerous surface cuts and black staining where water has got under the polyurethane. It needs to either go through a thicknesser or industrial sander and be recoated with the most suitable industrial product to protect the wood. I can get it removed and delivered for the work if required. It was created and installed by a kitchen cabinet maker who is now retired. It has no nails or screws in it. As you can see they didn't even bother to clean the sink before I came to take the photos. Utterly heart breaking after it being just fine for six years until they moved in
