Dishwasher install - cabinetry fix

We were told by previous owners that one spot of cabinetry just had to be removed for a dishwasher to be put in and all ready to go. We started removing the drawers and inside shell, however as the cabinet sides don't go all the way to the ground, we likely need new cabinetry sides fitted to prop up the bench, and also keen to confirm that the plumbing is already in place for the dishwasher before we buy one.
