Fit a fridge

Just moved house and found the fridge doesn't fit into the recess as the cabinet above it touches by about 10mm . Have tried lowering the fridge feet. Suggest it needs either jigsaw thru the shelf to fit the extra height or try and raise the shelf. Then help put the fridge from the garage into the house
