Hi. I have a 1920's kauri railway cottage with 12 foot stud. Whilst most of the house has been renovated, it still has two adjacent bedrooms with original scrim and kauri sarking boards. I've removed the wallpaper & scrim in one room (so its back to the bare solid kauri sarking board walls). The work i need done is: - Remove the baseboards so I can paint strip them, - Remove the coving - Install insulation in the external wall cavities (just need to remove a few sarking boards to access the space) - put the plasterboard up - Plaster/gib stop - Install new coving The rooms are: Front room - two external walls, two sash windows 3.1 x 3.25m Middle room - one external wall, one sash windows 3.2 x 2.5m (the scrim is removed in this room) If within my budget I would also like to discuss the installation of a wardrobe in one/both rooms - if feasible. . Please also be aware there is a short uphill walk (about 20 metres) and a couple of steps from the carport to the front door.
