Various house repair jobs for builder or handyman
Job description
I have a number of jobs. The more urgent ones include: Replacing one rotted corner pile. Easy access but the corner of the house will need to be jacked up slightly as it has slumped. New pile supplied. Replacing a badly installed wooden window with a 'newer' one. This will include some minor framing work such as adding a couple of studs and replacing the lintel and sill trimmer. New window supplied. Replacing 2 timber purlins in a porch. Replacing or repairing roofing iron that has rust along a change of pitch and installing a change of pitch flashing along a 6m length of roof. Hoping to have this work completed by the end of January 2023. Less urgent jobs: Installing a new widow in a wall in a back room. Lining the same room with plasterboard or ply (ceiling and walls). The house does not have any plans with the council so none of this work will be consented but I would like it done to code where possible. Happy to hear from tradies that are interested in all of the jobs or only some of them.
