DECKING We are wanting a deck built which will bridge a lower area to meet up with the lawned yard area, thereby creating a single level yard. The deck will be about 1.6m from the ground at the highest level so will require railings and building permit. The way the yard is at the moment, you step out the back door down about 7 steps to a concreted area and then the lawn slopes upwards from there to a flat lawn area. We are wanting to bridge over the concreted area directly to the flat lawn area. The deck will be approx 60sqm, so a biggy.
