Reboarding subfloor wall with fibro-cement sheeting, possible reinforcing of a rotten stud.

Job description

General Building
Wellington

We are having some repiling work done, which has unexpectedly involved the removal of the subfloor weatherboards along one side of our house. They have also seen what looks like a bit of rot in the bottom of a couple of studs above where they have been working. We are requiring someone to replace the weatherboards that have been removed, most likely with fibro-cement sheeting, and provide some advice on how to proceed with the studs. We realise this may involve the removal of more weatherboards to access the area. Our timeframe is tight, as we are due to have the house painted starting November 7. The repilers will be finished with that part of the house in the next couple of days, allowing work to start either this Friday or next Monday. I don't have a photo showing the wall, but this one from a couple of days ago shows the corner to show the approximate height of the wall at it's highest point.
