Renovation / Refurbishment Project

We currently have a two storey, three bedroom house, plus a study and a rumpus room down stairs. This house was built in 1950s occupying a 999 square meter site. We are planning to carry out extensive refurbishments and additions to the existing dwelling that on completion will be five bedrooms and a study. This job will consists of two / three parts: 1. Building a brand new addition to the existing dwelling which will have a master bedroom, walk-in wardrobe, ensuite and a study upstairs, and downstairs will have a lounge and a double bedroom. 2. Refurbish the existing dwelling (replacing windows and restructure the internal walls and stairs, insulation, sound proof walls etc ) 3. Build a brand new garage which will be attached to the existing dwelling. This may be a separate project at a later stage. We require our builder to be able to oversee all aspects of the building in the style of a project manager. We have already obtained the resource consent for this project, and our building consent is underway. We would like to start building in January. Right now, we want to select a trust worthy builder to discuss our requirements in detail and get a quote.
