External House Repairs and Maintenance - Monolithic

Repairs and Maintenance - small 2 story townhouse, with cavity monolithic cladding. (last done about 8 years ago, no water tightness issues) Surface Crack/Hairline Crack Repairs Repair any surface cracks in the exterior plaster using DAP Elastopatch Compound (or similar) Embed a fiberglass mesh into coating where appropriate. Fill crack with DAP Elastic Paste (or similar). Plaster over area with Synthetic Plaster to blend in and match existing texture finish. Prime localised repair areas. Plaster Repairs Repair chipped / damaged ground level areas of plaster with acrylic plaster to match existing texture finish and prime localised repair areas. Re-seal Junctions Re-seal all junctions between plaster cladding and aluminium joinery on all windows and doors with Quilosa MS-35 Paintable Adhesive Sealant (or similar). Re-seal Cladding Penetrations Re-seal all cladding penetrations e.g. taps, power-box, wires with Quilosa MS-35 Paintable Adhesive Sealant (or similar) Expansion Joints To remove sealant from all joints and replace with new sealant and prime where necessary.
