Replacing front door
Job description
We have a metal frame and glass front door that we want to replace with a wooden door (hopefully with some leadlight if we can afford it). I measured the door including the frame from inside the house: 84cm across and 196cm down. Not sure if that is the correct way to measure?! I have an idea of the sort of door I want but don't want to purchase one until I have a quote from a builder regarding how much it will cost to remove the old door and fit the new one. Timing will depend on the cost. I have attached 3 photos of our current door and one of the ideal door I would like to replace it with (the quote for that was over $3000 so I won't get that one (!) but will try and find something as close as possible to it)
