Chimney and log burner removal
Job description
I am needing a quote for a log burner and chimney removal including patching the roof and internal ceiling. Chimney is a double flue, i think, the black chimney goes into the ceiling through a larger metal silver flue in the roof space which extends out on to the roof. The black inner chimney looks as though it is attached in places to the outer silver chimney and possibly riveted in place (not immediately accessible to the inexperienced eye) The outside cap on top just lifts off. Log burner sits in a tiled concrete slab that we think is just sitting on top of the floor and wooden surround is glued on, (or coming off as photo shows) Log burner is pretty loose as we can rock it back and forth and there is movement. Chimney has had a clean and both it and the log burner will stay on the property so no need to worry about dumping it. We have removed some of the metal and tiles that were cladding the fire box.

They turned up when they said they would, had great communication, did a great job with a nice finish on the roof. Would recommend and would use again.
