Cutting opening into wall

We want to open up a large opening in a wall between our kitchen and living room. The opening conveniently lines up with two vertical studs and it is a non load bearing wall. We would like it sealed up nicely with a simple architrave around it. There is also a electrical outlet on the kitchen side that would need tome moved/removed. See attached photos for approximate size and location.
