The dishwasher has been purchased for this little kitchen and all its benches are too narrow. So a new bench top and sink have also been bought, with replacement tap on its way. I'm told the next step is to find a builder who can remove the old sink and bench, cut the right shape in the wooden bench for the new sink and tap, and create a frame to fit them into position. Also splash back (tiles like window?), and we will need to make a plan to make the underneath shelving/doors around dishwasher useful and tidy as possible. It is for me, and I am left handed. Will need estimate. The BC cost calculator suggests in the order of $1,700 – $3,000
