Our garage is attached to the house, and there is a triangular shaped gap at roof level where cold air from the garage can get intro the house ceiling space. The gap is approximately 5 meters long by 1 meter high at the highest point. Needs covering with plaster board or some alternative, doesn't have to be pretty as its in the garage. You will need good ladders, or scaffolding to get up to the right height to do the job.
