Hi --- and my husband are wanting to build our first home. We are in the process of purchasing land. We have $215,000 to spend on building our house. We need a three bedroom, 1 study, open plan living, reasonable sized pantry and laundry. We want a deck and a carport. We do not need a garage as we plan in the future to build a sleep out/ garage. And we do not need an ensuit, but if possible to have access into main bathroom from master bed. The land purchased is 8000sqm and is situated just out of pahiatua township. Semi rural. This means we will also need things like sewage systems and possibly water tanks, although I think town supply is available. Since our budget is so low and we want the most out of our money, we can do all the interior painting and wallpapering and all floor coverings. We have been looking at possibilities of kit set homes. I have a plan that we would like and have attatched a photo of that for you. As this is our first home any suggestions would be appreciated.
