Job description

General Building
Stratford

Hi, We're buying a house, and the builder's report highlighted some issues that should be quoted to be fixed. We need someone to have a look at the property within the next few days and tell us how much the following problems would cost to be addressed: - The house is a 1904 build, which underwent renovations in the 80s. - Some windows have faulty or missing sealing and weathertightness issues, primarily the bathroom window where the inspection detected high moisture levels. Please quote how much to fix these. - If other weathertightness issues are identified, please quote the work to fix those as well. - There is one power outlet in the bathroom which has no power coming through and a dimmer in the lounge room which is not working and needs to be fixed. There's also a worn socket in one of the bedrooms. Please quote to have these fixed. - The house's foundation has concrete bearers, but they are not secured with a wire tie to the beams of the house, which poses an earthquake risk. Please quote to have these wired.
