small bathroom job - install new wall stud for door hinges

remove gib in bathroom wall to put in a new stud to be able to then hinge new bathroom shower glass walk in door off. Replace gib. current stud is about 150 mm on the the target area. stud is 2400mm high but perhaps connect to existing stud at poinmts where hinges to wall. Ideally asap. location rolleston.
