Plywood (treated) panel to insert into sliding door for cat flap install

I have a double glazed sliding door and I would like to put a full length narrow panel in the door so that I can have a cat flap. The panel doesn't need to be that wide and the frame has a nice wee pocket on three sides so I can close the door and jam it into place. I can cut the hole and do the cat flap installation myself (as I want a microchip flap), but I don't have the table saw to make the panel.
