House that will be relocated to rural land in Waitoki, Rodney in Auckland early Feb 2025. A 1920's bungalow that has been renovated over the years and needs some attention. It will be cut in half along the black line in the floor plan image supplied, then the relocation company stitch it back together and refix roof. Work is done as part of AKL council building consent so tradies need to be licensed and have insurance. The work we need quoted is: 1) Attach piles to the house (the relocation company provides new foundations). The house is 110sqm, and we will have an engineer/draftsperson work out how many piles during the council consent phase. Know you can only work out a rough figure until we have those details. 2) Check the roofing iron/flashings are fixed securely and supply/fit roof flashing over the hole where the bedroom fireplace was removed. 3) Check all the gutters/drainpipes are secure, replace the gutter section where the cut for transport was made. 4) Fill the floor, ceiling and section of wall where the fireplace was removed. This space is approximately a metre by 60cm. 5) Install second-hand wood french doors to replace the windows on the right-hand side of the dining room (we will strip back and remove the window). 6) Cut out the rot in a few windows pictured, the worst of them is the bathroom window and fit new timber to repair. 7) Check timbers in the bathroom where a historical leak was and replace anything necessary (we will have extra weatherboard timbers that were left over from the bottom part of the house on the original site if needed). The leak was behind the bath which we can remove and strip back before you arrive. 8) Fit a vanity where the bath was (we will get rid of the old vanity on the other side of the room and use those water pipes for the washing machine.) 9) The back door pictured (near dining room) - remove and block it off using the reclaimed weatherboard timber from the original site (making it a wall on the inside). 10) Build a small deck at front door and steps (approx. 2metres by 2metres) and steps for the dining room french doors. 11) The last thing we would love to have is a new small fireplace fitted in the living room (if everything doesn't go over budget).
