Stairs and wall removal and replacement

I am urgently needing someone to fix the lower stairwell of my house where there has been previous water damage. I recently had the below ground level laundry dug out and waterproofed however they couldn't get to a section due to the internal stairs and external concrete slab. The stairs are wet and about to collapse and I believe when they get removed there might be a way to block off the gap where the water is coming in under the external slab and behind the internal stairs before the stairs are replaced. I'm not sure what the expected cost of this would be.
